Hazrat Dawood (A.S.) and the wonderful incident of the old woman
Hazrat Dawood (A.S.) and the wonderful incident of the old woman:-
One day, Hazrat Dawood (A.S.), who was a prophet and a king, was walking in the streets of his city when he saw an old woman carrying a heavy load of firewood. Being compassionate and just, he approached her and offered to help by carrying the load for her.
The old woman, not recognizing him as the king and prophet, was surprised by his offer and questioned why a young and strong man like him would be willing to assist her. Hazrat Dawood (A.S.) replied that it was his duty as a ruler to serve and assist his people.
As they walked together, the old woman engaged Hazrat Dawood (A.S.) in conversation. She asked him about his background, family, and his life. In the course of their discussion, she praised his wisdom, justice, and kindness. Hazrat Dawood (A.S.) humbly responded, thanking Allah for guiding him to righteousness.
To her amazement, the old woman then revealed that she had a dream in which the Prophet Dawood (A.S.) had helped her carry firewood. She interpreted the dream as a sign of his noble character and divine favor.
Hazrat Dawood (A.S.) realized the significance of the encounter and acknowledged that it was a manifestation of Allah's wisdom and guidance. The incident highlights the humility and compassion of Hazrat Dawood (A.S.), demonstrating that even though he was a king and a prophet, he did not consider any task beneath him when it came to serving and assisting his people.
