Early Life:

Khadija was born in Mecca, around 555 CE, into the wealthy and respected tribe of Quraysh. She was known for her intelligence, business acumen, and noble character. Widowed twice, Khadija managed her own successful business, which involved trading goods through caravans.

Marriage to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

Khadija first heard about Muhammad's (peace be upon him) honesty and integrity from her servant, Maysara, who accompanied him on a trade journey. Impressed by his character, Khadija proposed marriage to Muhammad (peace be upon him), who accepted. At the time, Khadija was 40, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) was 25.

Their marriage was blessed with children, including two sons, Al-Qasim and Abdullah, and four daughters: Zainab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with them all).

Support of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

Khadija played a pivotal role in supporting and comforting Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during the early years of his prophethood. She stood by him through the challenges and opposition they faced from the Quraysh tribe.

Conversion to Islam:

Khadija was the first person to accept Islam. She embraced the faith without hesitation, recognizing the truthfulness of Muhammad's (peace be upon him) message. Her acceptance of Islam had a profound impact, as her conversion brought credibility and strength to the nascent Muslim community.

Exile to the Valley of Abu Talib:

During the years of economic and social boycott faced by the Muslim community in the Valley of Abu Talib, Khadija endured hardships alongside her husband and children. The boycott lasted for three years but did not break Khadija's resolve.

Death:

Khadija (RA) passed away in 619 CE, at the age of 65. Her death was a significant loss for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who described her as a loyal companion and a source of comfort and support.

Khadija's legacy is celebrated for her unwavering faith, resilience, and selfless support for the Prophet (peace be upon him). Her character serves as an inspiration for Muslims, particularly women, emphasizing the importance of strength, integrity, and devotion to Allah.
