Sahih Bukhari Fatima death
Fatimah bint Muhammad, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), passed away at a relatively young age. The Sahih Bukhari, one of the most respected collections of hadiths (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad), does provide information about the events surrounding Fatimah's death.
In Sahih Bukhari, the death of Fatimah is mentioned in the Book of Funerals (Kitab Al-Jana'iz). One notable hadith is found in Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Hadith 370:
Narrated Aisha (the wife of Prophet Muhammad): "When the Prophet became seriously ill and his disease became aggravated, he asked his wives to allow him to be treated in my house, and they allowed him. He came out leaning on two men while his feet were dragging on the ground. He was walking between Al-Abbas and another man. Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet, peace be upon him, came and he made her sit on his right or left side, and she said, 'O my father! Won't you treat your eyes?' He then looked at Hassan and Husain (his grandsons), and said, 'Yes, (I will do if) you will bring me a pot of the soil, washed with water, and kept in a piece of cloth.' She kept on looking at him till she brought it, and he spat in it, and then said, 'There is no deity but Allah, the Death has its predestined time and the eyes cannot benefit or harm with (i.e., by their use). So, go away with the pot and throw it in the water.'"
This hadith describes the Prophet's last illness and Fatimah's concern for his well-being. After this, Prophet Muhammad passed away, and Fatimah lived on for a few months after her father's death. She passed away at the age of 29, and her death is a significant event in Islamic history.
It's important to refer to authentic Islamic sources, including hadith collections like Sahih Bukhari, for information about events in the life of Prophet Muhammad and his family.
